Vacation is over

Our last days at home changed from crappy snow and wet weather to the most beautiful spring days with lots of sun and only blue skies. No more winter coats but t-shirts instead. Wonderful. We had taken a trip to lake Starnberg yesterday. One of the lakes that was still missing in our list of bavarian lakes. All of them not more than an hour away from our house. A road closed for through traffic went right along the lake so we could take Mara in the stroller and eat lokal fish and had ice cream later. Mara is getting big now. She is over four month, really awake and sleeping less than she used to. We also tried feeding her rice mush this weekend for the first time. It was a mess but she liked it - and Johanna too, who fed her twice now. Tomorrow means back to school and work for us. But that is a good thing. Staying home to long drives Mom and the kids crazy.
