Heike and big Nick

Last Saturday Heike and Nick drove down from Bielefeld to help me watch Mara while our Nanny is on vacation for a week. Shawn, Mara and I had been out at lake Schliersee for a walk and when we returned Heike and Nick where there. Shawn took the chance to practise once more with his new smoker. The chicken turned out much much better than the last time. Yummm. Nick had been busy working in our garden all week. Great, all of a sudden it looks like we doubled the space. Next summer it is time for a sand box and maybe a swing? We will see if we really have that much room. Maybe we can share with the new neighbors who have two girls age 5 and 6. They are looking forward for Johanna to return. But me also. I miss her a lot. Can't wait to go out vacation with my girls. Weather in Ireland is crappy right now so that I hope all the rain is gone once we show up.
