One week of Carnival

Every day, starting Wednesday with an official "carnival sitting", Johanna had to dress up for Kindergarten. I got a little weary helping her to get ready before work. Saturday Cat and Jake came with the kids to join us for the parades. It was fun, Shawn though enjoyed only the cooking but everybody else also liked the parades. Plenty of candy and the day ended with kids on a sugar high. Johanna backed out of our costume plan to be Sams and Mr. Taschenbier. Once her costume was ready she cried so long that we agreed to have her wear her bumble bee. So I had to be Mr. Taschenbier without a Sams! Bummer. Check out the pictures here.
