Visitors from Hesse

Weekend - we so much needed it again. 2005 taxes to do - which we didn't do but we did interview a potential day care provider. She has a 7 year old daughter and lives right next to the school and Jo's kindergarten. She seems to e a good match for us. Jo and I will visit her this week to check out her home. Johanna and the girl immediately played together: perfect. All we need now is a cleaning lady. Uwe and Petra came to visit with their three kids. "Little" Ulla, their oldest is already 12 and was sick on the couch all the time, poor thing. We others had lots of fun together as it had been some time since we last met. Uwe had a doctor's appointment in Cologne this morning so everybody stayed until Monday. The weather was beautiful so we dragged the kids out for a long walk through the woods on Sunday, while Ulla was allowed to stay home and watch TV by herself. Through an oversight I managed to not record her favorite soap - Ooops. Very relaxing as we, parents and kids, still get along very well even after all these years.
