Lemon Tree

Four days in Nice including the drive back and forth was fun but I think next time we fly again. It is a long ways over the alps through Austria and Italy to get down there. (Even considering that going to Flensburg this weekend is much further away! But I will ride the train and fly back down.) We still had a great time. Mike chose a wonderful new and big apartment for us. It was not so close to the beach but nicely located and fit 2 families easily. We also spend some time with Lene and the boys but Lene, Anette and Jonas were sick and not in shape for company. That way we didn't see Anette at all - and somehow the Saturday before we returned i got the flu also. Fever kept me in bed while Shawn BBQed for everyone and the kids played in Mike's wild garden. Their favorite drink was home made lemonade. Johanna and Aaron climbed the lemon tree and picked huge lemons for Mike to squeeze. Yummmy.
