Finally Winter

The last couple of days have been very busy for me at work. On top of that both kids and our nanny have been sick for some time. Shawn stayed home with Mara on friday and I had to take off today. Fortunately we have a backup plan starting tomorrow. Mara and Johanna did enjoy the first snow this weekend. Even though we were very disappointed to not get the promised half metre snow chaos but only about 1-2 inch. Still enough to go sledding. We also baked lots and lots of cookies this Sunday with my friend Anika. A gingerbreadhouse is still in the making. Johanna and I will decorate it tomorrow. Wednesday Mara is turning ONE!
