1. Advent

Johanna was not home for the whole weekend and I missed her a lot. She went over to play with Joshi yesterday and Thomas convinced us that she could sleep over if she wanted. Of course she did. So we had plenty of time to stroll through Cologne. Not that we bought any christmas gifts. Most Shops were open until 22 and it was crowded. No holiday feelings yet. Later we met with old friends of Shawn from Würzburg who were here for the weekend to play pool. Tonight we have a good-bye dinner for my friend Claudia from work who moves with her husband to Shanghai next week. We had a hard time figuring out which restaurant to go to and finally come up with the "Klostermühle" in Rösrath. Unfortunately the "Zum Häuschen" had moved. Johanna has another sleep over planned! Even though two in a row seemed to be a little much. But she was fine with it. Right now I am ready to leave to play tennis with Katharina and will pick her up on the way back just to drop her off at Karim's a little later. My little big girl.
