Christmas in Austria

After a little search on the internet we decided to rent a house in Austria over Christmas week. They have plenty of snow there and we will get out of house more than when staying at home. Not that driving to go skiing wouldn't be possible from here, but still, it is good to get away some time. Mara and I are presently a little sick: fighting a stupid head cold. This is very annoying and Johanna was also complaining that her head hurt this morning. Oh no! We better get well before the Christmas. This Thursday is "Christmas party day" for all of us. Shawn and my company are having their thing and Johanna's school is also organizing a little get together on the same day. Crazy! Rebecca, the daughter of our Nanny, will watch the kids later at night given that I feel better by Thursday. Otherwise we all stay home.
