Hot Weekend in Belgium

I did not bring my camera so the picture is not Belgium here but Nice. Friday night we spontaniously decided to visit Jake and Cat for the weekend. By browsing our calendar we saw that Cat's parents were in town whom Shawn had not seen for a long time. It also was Jake's last weekend before his deployment to Afghanistan. Pretty scary thought to have him leave his family for 6 month. His timing was bad as Cat is going to start her new job this week. To help out her Dad was going to stay with her until summer to care for the kids. The weather was awesome almost too hot so that we hung out at their house and didn't do any trips from there. Which was nice, kids played in the garden and the adults could sit in the shade, chat and get a tan. Johanna practiced her English once more so she will be prepared for the big summer vacation with her grandparents. Oma Heike was visiting Mike, Lene, Lasse and Anette in Monaco. Mike said that she didn't want to leave ... but she will be home soon.
